SIHH 2019: Panerai Submersible 42 mm in black and blue grey

At the 2019 watch fair SIHH in Geneva the Florentine brandPanerai added two new models to its collection of their Submersible diving watches. These models have a steel case and are especially attractive to those with a smaller wrist due to their 42 mm diameter caseinstead of the regular 47 mm. Other than that the function of the new Submersible models stay unchanged. The former equipment of the Italian Navy still is a professional watch for divers.Panerai watches are above allfunctional and robust. Therefore both models have a case made ofAISI 316L stainless steel and a ceramic disc placed on the rotating bezel. Both modelsare equipped withthe OP XXXIV manufacture calibre, an automatic movement with a power reserve of three days, whichtoday has become the standard of Panerai's movements. ThePAM00683is designed completelyin black. ThePAM00959has a blue ceramic disc that fits to its blue rubber strap. The watch's dial is dark grey. The hand of the small second, which is located at the 9 o'clock position, is blue in both models. This function gives the user the certainty of the watch's functionality while diving.
