PAM00944The ‘Luminor Due’ case of the two models has a simple look and is made ofAISI 316L stainless steel. The design of the case is marked byclean lines and the characteristic bridge device which protects the winding crown in its thickness of a few millimeters. The anthracite dial, with small seconds counter and date, has the classic Panerai design and a satine soleil finish which endows this watch with a sporty spirit. In the first, it is circular and positioned on the back, while in the second, which is also fitted with the GMT function with am/pm indication, enabling the time in a second time zone to be read, it is on the dial at 5 o'clock. These two additional functions distinguish the P.4002 from the P.4001. Both movements are automatic calibres with a power reserve of three days. They can be seen through the sapphire crystal porthole in the back. The two movements are 133?4 lignes in size and they have an off-centred micro-rotor made of tungsten a material chosen for its high specific weight and two spring barrels. The balance oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and is firmly fixed in position by a bridge with twin supports, which help to make the structure of the caliber reliable.
