Panerai Radiomir Independent Model # PAM 00080 (PAM 080) displays “dead beat” seconds, i.e. the second hand advances once per second, as on a quartz watch. The blue dial is covered by a 1.5-mm thick sapphire crystal. This timepiece was produced in 2001 as a special edition, limited to 160 pieces only.
