In 1988, Chopard became the event sponsor of the?Mille Miglia?race, in conjunction with Karl and Karl-Friedrich Scheufele's personal passion for collectors' cars. ?As a family company, Chopard has always regarded this partnership as much more than a passive commitment, and father and son have personally participated every year in the 1000-mile race from Brescia to Rome and back.

Polished stainless steel case with brushed finished lug-tops,?buttons,?crown guard. Black dial with circular grain design patterns Recessed silvered sub-dials. Silvered inner bezel flange with printed minute/seconds track in black & 5 minute interval in Arabic numbers. Also fractions of a second index printed in red. Applied?polished steel rimmed index hour markers with luminous fill. Polished steel rimmed Hour & Minutes hands with luminous fill. Printed?in?thin black outlines are a large 6 & 12 on the underside of the crystal. Chronograph Functions. Large central seconds counter. 30 minute counter sub-dial located at the 12 o’clock position. 12 hour counter sub-dial located at the 6 o’clock position. Tachymeter Scale engraved on the fixed bezel. Running small seconds hand sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position. Magnified Date window located at the 3 o’clock position. Black dunlop style strap. Crystal on case back bears the “1000 MIGLIA“logo and “LIMITED EDITION BRESCIA-ROMA-BRESCIA“. Case back engraved with xxxx/2011. Base calibre is the ETA Valranges Calibre a07-211, beats at 28,800 vph, contains 25 jewels with an approximate Power Reserve of 48 hours. Watch is pre-owned in LNIB – Like NEw in Box condition.
